Earlier this year, B2R Farms partnered with Compassion International to train 30 vulnerable farming families in Rusenge—one of the most food-insecure regions in Rwanda. What began as a five-day introduction to Conservation Agriculture, as developed by Foundations for Farming, has planted seeds of hope for lasting change.
“When families are strengthened, development naturally follows. As a result of this collaboration, places once seen as barren and hopeless are becoming sources of life and opportunity. Families are now learning that there is no place God cannot bless.”
-Apa Nzaramya, Compassion International
Inspired by what they learned and witnessed, these families are now putting their training into practice—planting their first crops using Conservation Agriculture methods. For many, this marks the beginning of a new season of faith in what’s possible.
Rusenge is just one of many communities across Rwanda where B2R Farms is equipping families who rely on the land to live. As the growing season begins, we look forward to seeing the fruits of their work—and the transformation that follows.
