This month, 46 B2R Farms Fellows completed a two-day, intensive training with Arizona State University’s SolarSPELL team, equipping them with the skills to use the SolarSPELL Digital Agricultural Library to teach conservation agriculture. Each Fellow will now have a SolarSPELL library to enhance their efforts in training rural, smallholder farmers in sustainable practices.
With an ambitious goal to reach farmers in every village of Rwanda, these newly trained Fellows join an experienced cohort of B2R Farm Fellows already in the field. Together, they have leveraged the SolarSPELL library to train more than 100,000 farmers to date.
