B2R Farms is entering a powerful new chapter of national impact. Between 2025 and 2026, land under Foundation for Farming’s conservation agriculture (FFF/CA) grew by 300%—from 2,800 hectares to more than 8,210 hectares—while cooperative participation increased fourfold, expanding from 76 cooperatives to 304, representing nearly 66,000 farmers. At the village level, 195,000 farmers have now been trained, reaching approximately 9% of Rwanda’s 2.1 million agricultural households.
Looking ahead to 2027, B2R Farms aims to expand to 18,000 hectares under FFF/CA by training an additional 100,000 farmers and deepening cooperative adoption across the country. As we scale the number of hectares under FFF/CA, we accelerate Rwanda’s journey toward food self-sufficiency, climate resilience, and a thriving smallholder-led agricultural economy.
